i was ff the whole episode. it was so boooring!! like I don't get it how much the writers are failing when there's thousands of think pieces aesthetic board several books fuck....fanfics about this show that would make great tv. give us something!!!

Look, the original GG was not good. It was trashy and went on for much longer than it should have. BUT, at least some of the stories had semi-decent development, whether I liked the plot or not.

This series. . . It’s drama for the sake of drama, but no actual drama. It’s like I’m supposed to care about Julien’s reign or Otto’s family, but I don’t. The whole “stop the story” crap is trying so hard to appeal to an audience that has already moved onto a different version. And suddenly we get this deep backstory for Monet but there was zero build-up to it.

Every episode feels very confined to itself. It’s all a shame because it seems like there’s a lot of wasted potential. But then again I’m no longer the core audience so what do I know.
