i was in christmas movie mode and now i'm shifting into awards season mode

i hadn't even seen elvis yet so i went back and watched that, plus aftersun, the fabelmans, and tár. this weekend i'll watch the banshees of inisherin and the menu, plus GDT's pinocchio if i have time.

I got a TV last week and I've been watching films basically every day now, it's a whole new world compared to my computer screen lol also, I'm done watching films just bc everyone's talking about them/oscar buzz, now I'm strictly picking things I actually wanna see, doesn't matter how 'relevant' the films are. literally all the movies I enjoyed last year came from these posts, so bless your work, OP <3

I think it's fine if you keep your expectations reasonable. Not my favorite of the year or anything, but enjoyable.

I enjoyed and it's worth a watch but it's not life-changing or anything. There's some genuinely funny moments if you've ever known a ~foodie~ irl.
