I remember we watched it in middle school and when that scene happened my teacher ran to the tv to cover it up with his notebook. I didn't find out till years later how old they were and I thought it was so wrong.

I hope they win their lawsuit.

We only watched ~select~ scene from this version in my Baptist high school, lol. And tbh, even outside of a school setting I only had eyes for the Leo and Claire version so I never went out of my way to watch the 1968 movie. So like I had a vague knowledge that there was some content from this filmed deemed inappropriate by my religious school, but whoa. Did not know it was teens doing full on nudity.

Flashbacks to my 9th grade teacher trying to cover up the nude scene (I think she forgot about it).
I don't know why this play is even taught in school.

They were aged 15 and 16 during the filming. The director blatantly lied to them. So awful to be exploited and violated that way.
