Like, a ~let’s brunch~ girlfriend or an actual girlfriend?
This is why I get frustrated when straight ladies use girlfriend to refer to friends (yes I am aware Megan Fox is bi; general point though). Guys don’t use boyfriend for their friends…
I never understood it as a kid….and then it was used so much by my moms friends, girlfriend’s(lol) moms that I’d occasionally use it and only recently, like I’m 37 , thought to myself straight men don’t walk around saying yeah me and my boyfriends just taking a quick ski trip. And then I’m like does the is have something to do with sexism or misogyny…like I expedited my story , but overall , how’d we get here??

Would I? No. Do I want to be a fly on the wall to see all the drama unfold? Hell yes. I only want to know the drama!
