There's an example of a Nepo Kid in your gif. But I don't want to hear from any of that family.

Billy Bush is a cousin of theirs & he didn't want to use that connection to further his career (even though people knew about it). One TV station he worked for before he got on Access Hollywood did some promo with with something like; "We have the President's cousin working here!" and he quit because he told them he didn't want to play up the connection.

But nepotism isn’t about whether it’s widely known you have connections. It’s about the connections themselves. If people “knew about” his connections, they were used in furtherance of his career whether he wanted that or not.

He said that he was embedded with the military in Iraq when the helicopter was shot down and forced to land which never happened, which then led to them realizing he made up a lot of stuff in that same vein. It was like... Why?!

I get the feeling Brian Williams and him might have that in common idk. because you're a NEWS anchor and people will fact check everything you say. that's literally some people's jobs! (media matters etc)

then again, people who read the news on TV are not actually journalists. they're television personalities at best.
