Not Zaslav removing the superior and gold star of the DC Universe outside of comics. RIP to BTAS, STAS, Batman Beyond AND Static Shock because those will definitely be next.

I said this last night and I'll say it again:

I hope 2023 brings the downfall of (legal) streaming. DCAU was the BIGGEST draw to HBO Max for a lot of ppl. Now, it's just the hot mess of DCEU (which will never be as successful as the MCU) and all those Magnolia shows.

I know Zaslav still gets paid at the end of the day which is the worst thing about him becoming head of HBO Max and really illustrates that captialism > creativity, the arts to these ppl.

As someone who lives in a country where HBO Max doesn't exist, I'm selfishly happy about this. None of these shows are on streaming here so hopefully, WB will sell them to Netflix/Amazon Prime and include worldwide streaming rights.
