On Monday after 41 hours of deliberation, H*rvey W*instein was found guilty of three charges [sensitive content](rape, sexual penetration by foreign object, and forcible oral copulation) all tied to one victim, Jane Doe 1, a model and actress who testified that he assaulted her in a Beverly Hills hotel room in February 2013.

My heart dropped reading those lists. So much more impactful than just a number in a news report. I hope those named are comfortable with this being reported and I wish the best for the survivors. It is horrific that this went on for so long before action was taken.

As far as I know, the named victims chose to be named. In this trial, some of the Jane Does publicly revealed their identities before the trial began. The lists I included at the end are from Wikipedia and are all sourced. Many of them are from various articles (including the two original exposés in the New York Times and the New Yorker and the subsequent coverage after more victims came forward). Newsweek and the LA Times compiled lists of additional victims who came forward in the weeks after the original articles. The list of rape victims includes unnamed/anonymous victims so hopefully everyone who was named chose to go public.

The really terrible thing is that there were victims who reported what he did but he had enough power and connections to keep getting away with it, even when the police had a victim wear a wire and got him to confess on tape.

It really does seem like he sexually assaulted 99% of the women he met.

May he have every moment of pain he caused turned back on him threefold.
