I wish I was as wise as you. I watched the whole first season and when it ended I felt like I was still waiting for it to start.

I was going to comment with Mad Men! Like, I've never watched The Sopranos either but I KNOW that I'll watch it eventually. But with Mad Men, nope. I don't need that Hamm negativity in my life.

Of the five mentioned in the post, I've only seen the Sopranos and not a minute of the rest.

To make an original contribution: if it's on Disney+ and it's not The Beatles: Get Back, I haven't seen it.

It was so long and boring - even as someone who likes the Beatles and found some of the “song - crafting” parts very interesting

I treated it as a hangout show and just had it on in the background for hours -- it had enough solid bits to be entertaining but mostly just recreated the experience of being in a studio quite well.

i have not watched most of the classic hbo shows: sopranos, the wire, treme, oz, six feed under, etc. i will watch the wire someday, i just haven't been in the mental state to start it (i know it's kinda heavy).

the wire and treme are really good tho treme is slower, oz is...completely bizarre in retrospect lol, but also good. i've never seen six feet under or the sopranos though.

my faves have always been deadwood and rome tbh, still mad rome never got another season.

I fell into the same type of mindset with the sopranos. I didn’t hate it, but I just felt like it was my duty as a human to watch it. After a few seasons, I realized what I didn’t have to watch it if I didn’t feel like it.
