I know them deciding they're both over his flip-flopping ass is likely going to be short-lived but it was refreshing to see them realize how dumb/toxic/etc. their 30ish years of back and forth have been.

Umm... the moment Nina knew Sonny was alive and didn't know who he was, and the moment she decided "Carly's being a mean bitch to me on the phone, I'm not going to tell her nothing about her husband being alive!" she was actively keeping Sonny from recovering her memories

Oh wow, another Carly fan out in the wild. Me too! I hate this story for her even though it is in line for what she would do but I need her to find out about Willow's illness and put everything out in the open already.

I think last summer there was some stuff about the Rory actor's tweets coming back to haunt him and I noticed they slowed down him like a lot and he became just a generic nice guy to hold Spencer's space until they could finally get that going. I thought for sure he was the killer so taking him out was a surprise (but please GH, stop killing people at Christmas).

Carly's my favorite soap character of all time. I love her. Unabashedly so. And I don't mind saying it, because it's the truth.

I did hear about the actor having some tweets that were problematic, but they never got to the level where they were really reported on in the soap press, and I don't care enough to look into stuff like that.

I remember in the mid-aughts, GH used to have such great and wholesome Christmas montages that I would LOVE to watch because they were just so good... and then the year Spencer was born, or the year after he was born, they had the damned Christmas montage being Nikolas screaming into the snowy night while he dug around a nativity scene for his son and I was like "... what happeneded to the happy Christmas montages?!" Which is just a long winded way of me saying that I too want less dourness during the holidays.

I don't remember if this was this week or last lol, but I'm sick of Curtis harassing Jordan the way he did in her office. They really need to have her move on with someone else because the way he's always talking down to her is disgusting. I really don't know why he thinks he's entitled to any information about an ongoing investigation. She doesn't owe him a damn thing. At this point I hope Trina is his kid so his "perfect" relationship with Portia can blow up in his stupid face

He has been insufferable ever since he found out about the divorce papers. I wish she'd told him it was his aunt playing god and didn't want his ass anymore. Like how dare she not tell him all the ins and outs of a police investigation since it's about his stepdaughter to be (or maybe actual birth daughter). BTW, GH I am a long time soap fan and I get the tropes but can we have at least one black family where mom isn't hiding who the birth father is?

Regarding Maxie and Austin, I thought they were kind of cute and fine at the beginning but that hint of Todd can't help but flow into everything Roger Howarth plays and that just doesn't vibe with Maxie. And yeah he had more chemistry with Britt. Just put Maxie back with Spinelli so he and their kid could shut up already and go sit in a corner somewhere.

And while Carly will absolutely deserve the repercussions of keeping this secret, I just find it annoying that ultimately she's going to be far more villainized than Nina has been.

RIGHT!! Carly will be treated like a pariah while Nina got a pity party and will ultimately get everything she wanted. I had to stop watching the show because the way they're handling this was making me sick. Nina is with Sonny so of course she's gotta have everything and lol I am sorry but CW is absolutely horrible as Nina and that makes this 1000x harder to swallow.

Every time I see these posts, I miss the oldies like Guiding Light and As The World Turns. (Fuck ATWT for what they did to Reid tho. Gonna die bitter)

But man, I do kind of miss DOOL but I didn’t recognize anyone in that promo.

Yas for shirtless Sonny! And glad to see Will back again, but hate that it will be brief and likely just him being jealous of Leo. I don't love Sonny and Leo possibly getting together, but if Will ain't gonna be around then I'm at least glad for Sonny to have something to do other than act like a total prude around his brother.

So ready for the Gabi/Li wedding and implosion of their relationship. I didn't mind them scheming together to take control of Dimera, but I hate Li now that he's become a villain and Gabi's the victim.

Sloan is still pretty one-dimensional and not a great actress, but she's growing on me a bit. Eric is a dog tho. You get one woman pregnant, leave her for another woman who ends her marriage for you, then immediately jump in bed with a third random woman. All in the span of like...a month? Hopefully he used protection with Sloan!!
