Because it's bad. The art is literally terrifying if you look at it for more than half a second. Extra eyes, nostrils, ears, fingers.

Can we please stop acting like AI art is good? Some of the visuals people make look nice for a few seconds, but as soon as you look closely it's always bad. And ChatGPT is handy for technical stuff like troubleshooting code (ty for rewriting pipelines for me, robot friend!) or getting help with understanding concepts, but the creative output from it is always bland as hell.

Ethics from the data collection aside, it's just not good.

That being said, sending someone death threats or encouraging suicide over it is absolutely insane.

Some of it looks so terrifying. It looks fine from far away but when you look closer, it's like looking at body horror.

That book looks ugly as fuck.
I follow a lot of artist/illustrators on twitter and they all seems so sad rn. Support real artists!!

If the prompter just put this up on AO3 it would’ve been fine. It’s basically fanfic/fanart just based on kajillion other things instead of one thing and you’re just the prompt provider.
