Well, if this is going to be a beautify post...

Beauty experts of ONTD, I'm starting to get marionette lines into my chin. I'm 38 so not terribly unexpected, but am wondering if there is a cream/serum that you all have encountered that might help. No judgment for botox/fillers but that's not an option I want to explore at this time. Thanks in advance!

I don't know about products, but all women I know that shower with or apply cold water to their faces, look younger. I do it too as a preventative measure but I have no wrinkles yet. My granny used cold water and a lot of face cream and she always looked so young. My aunt is the same and her skin is radiant.

Something like a Nuface device would probably be more effective. I used to use one it helped with sagging and lines (I just don't have time for it anymore). If you keep your eyes peeled after the holidays you can sometimes find them on sale.

Seconding the NuFace, but for topical stuff, a retinoid is going to be your best friend as is a vit c product; tretinoin is the gold standard (available via telehealth services like Curology in the US, Dermatica in the UK/EU), and everyone creams themselves over the SkinCeuticals Vitamin C + Ferulic but both Timeless & Mad Hippie make dupes for it.

Also, religious SPF usage. I have an app that tells me the UV index so I know when to use it (basically anything over 2, especially if I'm going outside.)

I am obsessed with cosrx right now. I just got the snail essence despite the fact that I have always HATED snails. I think they are absolutely repulsive but damn if their essence don't have my skin glowing rn. I got that and the Propolis toner. I am very fortunate to have really good skin, but that combo has elevated it.

I was so tempted to grab Titania but I asked myself if I would even get any use out of it right now and the answer was no so I closed the tab and resisted Lisa's siren call. I didn't set a reminder for the new velvets so I missed out on Velvet Sorcery and I'm so mad! I know she'll restock but I fell in love with the shade! :(

Wearing Liza today. Two of the three new shades are calling my name.
