will this be categorized as animation film come next award season, because i didn't find a single frame that wasn't CGIed to death in the trailer. at least the first film had some sort of "human" aspect.

Just watched the first one for the first time earlier this year when they rereleased it, and while the script was actively bad at parts, it really did look fantastic! Since most of the reviews are praising the visuals, and a few are even saying this one is better overall, I'll be there.

I am ready. I don't care about the SFX, particularly, but James Cameron has gotten millions of Americans to cheer for the fresh of cops (T2), the rich (Titanic), and, above all, US TROOPS (Avatar)!!!!!!

I'm very very into the not subtle messages of these films.
