The "oh lord technology is fucking our shit up" anthology series was a hit when it first began over 10 years ago, and real life has kind of caught up to the technology in the show

None of the episodes from the Netflix seasons for sure.

I didn't even bother with the last season. I genuinely liked Metalhead because it had a very simple concept and stuck with it. But most of the Netflix Black Mirror episodes have been not great to terrible, IMO because they feel like they're trying too much to be ~Black Mirror~ episodes instead just thought-provoking stories.

They totally lost the vibe of the original right from the start with the Netflix content. Not really interesting at all

Hated in the Nation is my favorite, it’s almost a movie. The buildup and ending…whew. I think it’s one of the episodes that sort of uses the world as it is and puts it together for maximum horror, rather than one of the episodes that’s more of an alternate universe, setting, advanced technology type of deal.

I also love National Anthem, White Bear, and Shut Up and Dance. White Christmas and Black Museum have their moments (the cookies are horrifying), but are uneven overall imo. And also Fifteen Million Merits is good too, though I don’t like the very end of it.

hated in the nation is so damn good, i think it’s underrated. i love shut up and dance too because it really caught me off guard.

It's hard to talk about favourites when it comes to Black Mirror because how brutal were some episodes. Acid on an open wound. 15 Million Merits was amazing. The Waldo Moment was so dark but so foretelling. I was so angry watching it and watching people being dumb af. Shut up and dance had me curl and die tbh. Hang the DJ and Juniper are the only light in those dark episodes but it's all worth it tbh.
