i enjoy true crime, but this show feels... gross to me. it's some combination of how recent it was and how many victims he had and how gruesome it all was. i don't think it's possible to make a show or movie of the dahmer story that ISN'T exploitative in some way

eta: to be clear, i haven't watched this and have zero interest in watching it, and don't know anything about it other than being familiar with the... it feels weird to say "source material" but i don't know what else to call it. history? The Happenings of jeffrey dahmer and his crimes
