Same. I've never liked him after having a whole plot point being that Drax is completely literal, but then he calls Gamora a whore. It didn't make sense and was put in solely to get to call a female character a cruel name. Like how Joss Whedon was so incredibly proud of himself for having Loki call Black Widow a 'mewling quim' in Avengers. There's a weird excitement these men get from slipping slurs in.

That's exactly what it is. He reminds me a lot of Joss Whedon. I also think the whole ongoing joke of stealing a person's prosthetic is gross.

I hated how the second movie’s B plot was Drax telling Mantis how ugly she was, with the insults getting progressively worse as the movie went on.
