I love that the OG Chippendales is a thing again(in terms of pop culture). My mom and aunt had literal PHOTO BOOKS filled with pictures of some of those men back in the 80s and 90s the way I did with rock musicians and actors in the 2000s, and I cant wait to tell them about all this so they can see if their favorites were up to crazy shit they had no idea about.
I watched "Secrets of the Chippendales" documentary and I was shocked about the murderous scandals. Like someone mentioned above, I thought the scandals would be that many of them were gay in addition to drugs and sex, but not murder. Holy shit!
Same - I really thought the documentary was going to be a mild behind the scenes look of what it was like to be a male dancer during that time period. I did not expect all of the murder and scandal!
I will 100% be tuning in for this. And why do I get the feeling that this show is the "serious stripper" vibe that Channing Tatum wanted Magic Mike to be?
