I have yet to like an Ari Aster film.

I hated Hereditary and MidSommer

I also hated Midsommar so much. I watched it with a couple of friends at the theater and I remember one of them kept checking his watch hoping the movie would end soon. Can't blame him.

Same. The only thing I can appreciate about the films is they are shot well (and it is nice to see horror in a bright light and almost makes it more disturbing.) But overall didn’t like the movies.

The plots are totally pedestrian. In Hereditary we have to rely on info dumps from the neighbour, and we all know what’s going to happen to the group in Midsomar.
The only innovative aspects are thoroughly unpleasant and hard to watch.
He does get good actors though.

does anyone know if the EEAAO vinyl record is just on the a24 website or likely to be sold by other retailers/record shops? i feel like i saw midsommar and the green knight records from other retailers but i wasnt interested in buying them so i forget. wish the record had used artwork from one of the film posters rather than the black/white look idk. missed chance having the records look like everything bagels too

I love this film and how it's encouraged the talk of generational trauma. Atleast in my family and others I know.
