I was Alex Wolff’s Paimon at the end of the movie for Halloween this year! I did the crown and the fake blood and the nose bandage, but I wore a crop top to make it sexy lol.

Hereditary is one of the best horror movies I've ever seen, but I don't know if I'll ever be able to rewatch it anytime soon.

i truly and deeply hate hereditary. it zeroed in on the disability as horror trope and doubled down on it by horrifically depicting the death of a disabled child. regardless of toni colette's acting in it, it's an incredibly ableist film, shot with negative intentions, and then built on an otherwise ineffective and derivative story that really isn't all that interesting and engaging anyway since it's built on trash anyway

the actor in real life has cleidocranial dysostosis which is a visible disability

I didn’t read that the disability was written into the plot? It didn’t even register with me really she was disabled.
