My first Supernatural episode was with Nicki. She was a terrific actress and a delightful colleague. Im so sad to hear of her death. Sleep well, my friend. https://t.co/l8QqZSBEwz

Jim would feel this, his whole book was about dealing with his wife’s illness and eventual death

His book was one of the most devastating ones I've read.

I bought the book years and years ago and started it, but because I have major avoidance issues and I knew the worst was to come, I put it down. Then I lost one of my parents to cancer as well and I've just never picked it up again.

Not to cause a completely jarring change in mood but TIL Jim Beaver remarried and to someone pretty much half his age -_- such a bizarre mix of relating and still feeling sadness for him (because that kind of grief never goes away) and back to thinking men are just so fucking predictable.

Ugh, RIP. Life is too damn short, and cancer cures cannot come soon enough.

I recognized her from Supernatural, but seeing this

had recurring roles on other shows like Cold Case

reminded me that she played Lily's ne'er do well sister, too.

RIP :(
She was objectively the best Meg, even though I personally preferred the Meg who had a crush on Castiel (weird story choice but I dug it??)

I remember Nicki on Supernatural and thought she did a terrific job.

Cancer can fuck right off.

Rest in Peace Nicki

She was so talented I remember thinking I couldn’t wait to see what else she did, I’m glad at the very least she got time to say goodbye to her family and friends and to see how loved she was
