I saw an 18 year old on Twitter last night saying "quick, someone show me how Tumblr works," and I just laughed.

Tumblr is nothing like Twitter. These people are gonna be so frustrated.

tumblr's official channels encouraging twitter people to rejoin, only for the site to immediately crash when people starting signing up in droves, is the most tumblr thing ever

with that said, tumblr is still one of my preferred sites because i have the right extensions to keep my dash super curated and i can go on there to reblog mindlessly to my heart's content when i want to turn my brain off

they finally fixed this. the only bad thing is you can't start a group chat. there used to be like site-wide group chats, kinda like a text version of Twitter spaces in 2019 but everyone i follow always made fun of it because they were a huge mess.

I think I kind of quit when that one tumblr add on got removed because the creator was being harassed(?), anybody remember that? I loved those features.

I went back to mine and realized I was gone for years and then randomly dropped in to reblog a bunch of Falcon and the Winter Soldier clips when it was on and then I dipped again.

But now I'm back again!
