No way, this man is preparing thirst trap care packages for us for while he’s gone. When will Chris Evans ever

He's doing public service so it will actually be 21 months. 🥹

Hold shit. That’s so long, we used to have 9 months and I already thought this ruins peoples careers

How do you pronounce his fandom name? Bc it reads as Weenie and it makes this letter hilarious.

Now that I learned musical talents can count as military service in Korea, I'm curious if he'll go that route. Will he still make money from streams.

i thought that only applied to like, classical musicians and stuff? i think bts exhausted the attempts to find any way for other musicians to be considered doing public service

I really don't get it, in Israel there is a new thing in the IDF when they have up to 5 people serve in the military in a 'talent route' or whatever, when they serve full 2 years and to get on with their career.
Noa Kirel was one of those lately (the one who wore pants with kanye on them) and somebody else.
So I really don't get it how they didn't find a solution for bts

they used to have stuff like this (maybe still do?) but there were a lot of cries about special treatment for celebrities and stuff so its much more limited now.

that's one hell of a photo they used in that tweet lol

I wonder why he's going the public service worker route. did he have some injury that I'm forgetting? in any case I hope it goes by fast and stress-free for him

Only one I can remember is him dislocating his shoulder while performing.

The only way to get out of active duty is to not pass the physical and/or mental examination. But they are pretty strict so there are lots of entertainers who end up being assigned to public service.

Probably because if NK saw those big guns out on the front lines it would start an arms race 💪
