She's been one of my favorite actresses for a long time. I'm always instantly relieved when I see her in something because I know she's gonna give it her all. She's so versatile.

I think my performances of hers are:
1. Hereditary
2. Velvet Goldmine
3. Muriel's Wedding
4. The Sixth Sense
5. Unbelievable

^ this is the correct ranking except I haven’t seen Unbelievable so I’m swapping for About a Boy or Krampus, which admittedly sucks but it’s my go-to Christmas movie.

Muriel's Wedding should be higher.

I don't really get the hype for Hereditary. She was good in it, but it was only an alright movie.

there were a couple of really shocking moments that stand out visually (the car....eek) and in the horror genre, it's hard to really be original lol so I think people were overhyping it for that reason. I don't think the plotline itself was anything that special

I have to admit I was also really turned off by how bad the lighting was. There could have been the best acting in the world happening but you could barely see any of it.

Same, Hereditary was a snoozefest for me. I think Muriel’s Wedding should be number one. Her performance is so heartbreaking.

The absolute nightmare of her discovering Charlie's body...the fact that we only hear it from the son's POV makes it somehow WORSE

Muriel’s Wedding is one of my favorite films of all time. The definition of a comfort watch. If I’m feeling depressed or down I put it on and it never fails to make me smile.
