Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system.

Big fucking yikes!

I can’t with arguments like that. It’s the same kind of thinking that is giving us murder and r*pe in GoT.

Yes of course I forgot how there were no Black people in Medieval Europe. STOP USING HISTORY OF A FUCKIGN FICTIOUS WORLD TO JUSTIFY YOUR RACISM.

There's also Reddas from FF12, but he's a minor character tbf.

Oh, I just remembered Ash from SoP, but he's kind of a redux of Gladio, like how Jed is a redux of Prompto.

the fantasy world of Valisthea was based on medieval Europe, and they wanted to limit the world culturally and geographically

Okay, but it's not like medieval Europe was "whites only", Spain was ruled by Muslims for centuries, there was trade between various North African ports and European ports, you could look at the history of islands like Corsica, Sicily, Malta, Cyprus...

But even if medieval Europe HAD been just one ethnic group, this is a FANTASY world. You can have as many different races as you want, you just don't want to do it.

I used to love the FF games but they are boring, basic, paint-by-numbers fantasy bullshit now and I hate it.
