I keep telling my boyfriend that Terrifier/Terrifier 2 are the only horror movies I haven't seen (which is like 98% true) and that we should sit down and watch them but I'm kind of too nervous from what I've heard. He likes horror but like...if it's a total gross splatterfest idk how he'll feel lol.

From what I've heard, it's basically just a misogynistic gore splatterfest.

It's definitely misogynistic the way the director delights in torturing women (it's soooo ott) but then he kind of makes up for it by giving us a cool final girl in Sienna. (actually I don't even know if she survives. I have like 15 minutes to watch left. I was getting bored.lol.). But she is awesome in her angel-gladiator costume. And her speech to her brother about how its sick to want to dress up as a real life murderer for Halloween and stuff was a+ to me.

Watched barbarian and I liked it a lot, but can't say the same for the good nurse... It was just ok. Nothing remarkable about it

I think I would have hated barbarian if I watched it by myself but I didn't so I loved it

I'm glad I wasn't spoiled and that the trailer gave nothing away

We watched it at home last night, and I did think it must have been a lot more fun to watch in a crowded theater.

It's really the kind of movie you can't watch totally alone without getting annoyed. I kinda wanna rewatch it by myself and compare the experience, but I guess it's hard to compare now that I know the twist
