I cried so hard and then felt really upset. I even just texted my partner when I woke up that I hated the ending. I didn’t, completely, but holy shit. I think coming off of having just seen my father in a year and a half after he moved had me all fucked up because Alan reminded me of my dad a lot.

I cried and it left me shaken. I read that the ending would be divisive. I liked it, I think that it was a different ending from other films/shows about serial killers. The best scenes throughout the show were the ones between the two leads. Domhnall again showed what a fantastic, versatile actor he is. All awards for him, please! I find him so charming IRL and he was so creepy here. And I loved Steve Carrell's performance as well, so I want awards for him too. They played great off each other.
