Lmao i swear there are some shot for shot remakes of scenes, so that's one hell of a homage even if James Gunn admits to being a fanboy. But tbh the only part of the 2nd movie i watched were Ben's scenes on Youtube.

Ironically, I found GOTG very bland and the dance-off completely lost me and turned me off from the MCU altogether... that's how moronic I found it. The latest Doctor Strange movie was the only MCU movie I watched since Gunn's GOTG, and that's only because of Sam Raimi. I did watch Ben's cameo on youtube back then and, oh boy, it confirmed I had made the right decision. These movies are not for me.
