She's right and she should say it. I am still not over what happened to Dany. Here you have someone who lost everything helping save the realm from the white walkers and the Lannisters and her reward was to get shanked by Jon Snow after the world's worst and shortest hero-to-villain arc. Meanwhile, someone like Sansa, who did nothing of value the entire time (save for getting the Knights of the Vale to come) gets rewarded by being named Queen of the North, and another badass woman like Yara Greyjoy gets fucked over and paid dust.

Someone on Twitter mentioned that if it hadn't been for Dany's dragons and army, she wouldn't have been alive to become QITN.

I like Sansa and actually liked her ending, but at the same time, was irked by how the rest of the women was paid dust, like Yara.

Yep. Any woman who took charge used her agency or pushed back against the menfolk got punished in the GoT universe, ironically the only exception being Arya. Otherwise, they either turned evil or were "punished" for their insolence and put back into their place........

I have not and will not watch a Game of Thrones, but her Spider-Man take is spot-on.

Ben Schwartz had been live-tweeting watching Game of Thrones for the first time and this made me realize recently there were 8 whole seasons of this show. 8 seasons! I do not remember what possibly could have happened in at least half of those season. I was thinking there were like 5, maybe 6 at most but even that felt like a stretch.

To be fair the last couple are only like 6/7 episodes a piece
