Overall a really solid pop album but not as good as Dedicated.

I've only listened all the way through once but mine are:

Surrender My Heart, Talking to Yourself, Sideways, Beach House, The Loneliest Time, and Anxious (Which should've been a bonus on the Target exclusive CD SMH!!!)

I think I agree, it's good but idk if I like it as much as Dedicated. I need more time and listens to really determine that tbh

I love this album. It’s probably not my favourite CRJ album but it’s hitting me right where I live today.

Go Find Yourself or Whatever is amazing. Made me cry on the train coming to work this morning. It’s a no skips album but so was Emotion and Dedicated. She the pop girl who speaks to me.

I know that everyone's talking about Taylor's album, but I stayed up to listen to Carly Rae Jepsen's album last night on Spotify and ended up buying it - it's fantastic. I'm finding myself repeat listening on several tracks.

Of course I'm still listening to Tove Lo's album too.

There's TOO MUCH POP MUSIC out today!!!

I listened to Midnights (thanks to the early leak), Carly Rae Jepsen's, and Tegan and Sara's. Shockingly, cause I'm a huge CRJ stan, my favorite of the 3 is Tegan and Sara's. I think Carly's is gonna take a while to grow on me, and though there's a few songs I really love (go find yourself or whatever, especially), I think it's my least favorite album of hers :(

i don't really like Midnights but I do love the bonus tracks, probably because Aaron was more involved in most of those. the bonus tracks are what I expected the whole album to sound like - more pop than evermore but still more grown up than what Midnights actually is.

Tegan and Sara's album has no skips for me, their best album yet I think and I LOVED Heartthrob.

Midnights really grows on me with repeated listening. On first listen it sounds very Diet Lover because the melodies are quite muted - and some of the songs blend together, but it really comes alive on additional listens. I think it’s a grower.

Though one of my favs is Sweet Nothing; I love the production on that one and of course it’s one Jack didn’t do LOL.

I’ve been on an old Blink-182 binge, revisiting “Sun Goes Down” by Lil Nas X a lot because it gets me emotional and I find it really uplifting, and I’ve been interspersing some ~Halloween~ vibey music in there, like The Cramps and The Misfits. And still enjoying Tove Lo’s “Grapefruit”!
