I really liked this show and the finale, in retrospect, felt more like the show’s tone than an MCU epic battle. I hope for a season two but I don’t think that’ll happen.

Here’s hoping Jen shows up in DD reborn.

i wont lie, i watched this for matt. in that vein, i was really disappointed. his whole thing is dark and broody with real fight scenes, his appearance was crazy cgi-fighting and marvel comedy. i really hope thats not the direction his show takes.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I loved all the call-outs of intel culture + every time Jen (or another character) dropped some reality check about what it's like to be a woman in the world, but the lack of a cohesive plot and the fourth wall breaking left me completely whelmed (especially the fourth wall shit; I don't care if it's in the source material, it's utterly nonsensical in universe plus it's grating).
