i have so many. i could go for one of the more obscure, artsy films some of you are dropping here (no shade) but i'm going with my gut and say "tootsie".

Goddammit, Nick.

My favorite movie is The Godfather. I wish it wasn't but the heart wants what it wants.

i love inception! I feel like as of late, the cool thing to do is to point that movie out as being fake deep or something but I love that something even attempting to be cerebral got to have a huge Hollywood budget and be a big hit, because I don't know if I can see that happening now. I genuinely love the world building in it (figuratively and literally lol) and it's one of those movies where I love that it's a standalone but I wouldn't say no to a TV show set in the universe

Same! I've read a lot of valid criticisms about it but tbh I don't even care, to me it's flawless and it makes me so happy every time I watch it. Getting to see it in IMAX was... phew!

This is partly the reason why I loved Inception too! I saw it first in an Imax cinema and when it got to the corridor scene, I've never had the cinema be so quiet before. Everyone was completely hooked.
