These "rehabilitation schools" have little to no oversight and something seriously needs to be done. It's awful how victims are often discredited because "well, you were a bad kid to get sent there in the first place" but that has nothing to do with abuse!

“bad kids” are less likely to be believed if/when they make a disclosure.

This family is horrible. There are reasons for it like everybody but they are terrible. That's where Nicki and Paris learned it mixed in with their individual traumas. Generational trauma that continues and isn't dealt with.
