Jamie Lee was incredible in the first one but recast Lindsay or have a new actress be a grandkid that she swaps with instead. otherwise no thank you to employing racist kidnappers.

Swapping Lilo as a mom and JLC as a grandma would not be that interesting in first place, but a grandma with a 10yo grandchildren in 2022? That would be way funnier.

I looooved the original as a kid because Jodie Foster was just the baby dyke teen dream. I think that's why I fell so hard for Clea Duvall in the late 90s/early 2000s. She had the same vibe.
