I remember when I was around 11, I finished this book and then just went into the bathroom and cried, as the bathroom was the only place I could lock the door lol. It's still one of my favorite series, even though it gets harder and harder to connect with Lyra as I grow older.

Hope they can pull it off, as the third book gets pretty bonkers and I can't imagine it can all be fit into 8 episodes.

lmao ikr I started the series and I was really young but I didn't end up actually finishing the whole series until I was like 17 and I have a memory of reading by cell phone light in my dorm while everyone was asleep and just SOBBING silently lmao
