“Engage in curiosity and empathy before we go straight to judgment” so well said I wish her nothing but the best

I'm curious: is she opening herself up to legal repercussions by talking so much about this abuse that happened on the set of that show, without actually taking legal action against the abuser?

she never names the abuser tho? so im not sure who would take legal action against her.

As far as we know, she never signed an NDA or anything prohibiting her from discussing her experiences on the show, so she's not risking anything.

if she did, ndas can be voided if the activity she's discussing is illegal

"It’s meaningful when you make the choice to believe women."

This sentence from her apology from 2019 makes so much sense now. I'm sorry for all that she's gone through. I hope she finds a way to heal.

She should never have to work with her abuser and the fucker should face justice. That said, her publicity tour to regain her reputation after her shitty tweet is not doing much for me. She still acted incredibly unprofessionally and was nasty to the hardworking cast and crew.

A woman reacts to being contractually forced to be around a man who sexually harassed her for years on set, despite the show being her big break, and you’re thinking of the intern doing Starbucks runs.

She should never have had to be contractually obligated to be around a man who sexually harassed her. I am saying I feel empathy for her while also having skepticism about her PR tour.

Also, do not diminish the treatment or treatment of interns in defense of a celebrity.

Miss me with this totem pole pile on bullshit without proof in the face of professionalism.

She’s not on the show anymore, wrote a book and has a movie coming out. You calling her finally telling her truth a PR tour is exactly why she said, "It’s meaningful when you make the choice to believe women."

i've always thought constance's tweet should've been seen as a messy and funny moment, especially before we got all this new context. the fact that it blew up and practically grinded her career to a halt showed me how people are really eager to take down people who aren't ~perfect representation~ like yeah it was "unprofessional" but there are so many directors and actors literally harassing others on set without a fraction of the scrutiny that she got
