I saw the first episode of this show and I've been hoping it comes on DVD so my library can get it and I can rent them out. That being said, I'm glad they're leaving on a good note in terms of knowing when to stop and not letting the season go like Orange is the New Black or The Simpsons.

AMC renewed it for a second season and then a couple months later was like "Sike, we're cancelling it, so the second season is the last!" But, at least they got to wrap everything up. I think it was for the best because it didn't really seemed like they could stretch it out for a few more seasons.

AMC seems as cancel-happy as Netflix but on a smaller scale.

I originally saw Raymond Lee in this awful show called Here and Now (it was terrible but I kept watching it every week in the hopes that it would get better), so I was happy to see him pop up on this show. I was even more excited to see that he was cast as a romantic interest for the main character. I didn't know he was in Quantum Leap reboot so I'll have to check it out!

and i will only continue to watch it because of him

he is so god damn likable - i don't like any of the other characters on QL but him (thru three episodes)

No, the accompanying podcast (which is AWESOME - called "Kevin Can Podcast Himself" - I'm listening to the old episodes right now lol) confirms that AMC renewed it an and canceled it 2-3 months later so they had to completely rework the final two episodes into a series finale. I stand by my view that AMC hates women and doesn't support shows by and about women.

Also I keep trying to make an icon of the end of season 1 scene (see icon) but don't have photoshop or a working laptop so it's super low-quality lol.
