I hope she has a better and stronger support system around her now. So many people around her failed her.

I know this isn't a major revelation or anything, but whenever I read stories like hers or Jennette McCurdy's, it makes me so mad that child actors are so easily abused/manipulated by the adults around them who care only about the work output of these CHILDREN, rather than their mental health. I'm not saying every adult in the industry is supposed to be a qualified therapist but all of these people see underage actors being depressed, doing drugs, acting out, having inappropriate relationships, etc. and they look the other way because the most important thing is for these kids to hit their marks and recite their lines so that the show can keep making money.
