I do remember seeing someone last week or 2 weeks ago mention that Nicole allegedly almost got him out. Interesting about the timing cause they divorced not that long after Eyes Wide Shut.

From what I know Tom got into Scientology in the mid-80s. It was actually his first wife Mimi Rogers who got him into it (she later left it ironically) but he stayed. I remember reading that they "cured" him of his dyslexia.

This guy is saying that it looks like Tom was slipping from their grasps in the late 90s and that Nicole was maybe helping with that. They clearly were not about to lose their top golden boy and pulled out all the stops to lure him back.

it's not, but it's yet another account that keeps confirming the stories that have been already told by several other people, and it's worth spreading again the facts, since people seem to be now loving again tom cruise after top gun's success

Yes. He tried to break away when his son died, but photos of him standing too close to another man found it’s way to the tabloids.

There have long been rumors about him trying to get out, and the church forcing him to stay.

His daughter is grown up now, and her entire circle seems to be just her dad and her Scientology handler "friends," just like the Cruise children. So I don't think there is an out for them any more.
