The defeated pessimist in me thinks that if he is charged, and somehow convicted, he’ll get probation or house arrest. Which will probably just further bolster his victim complex.
Being stuck in his house with Hilarious and their brood of newborns, infants, and toddlers is what he deserves for the next 4 or 5 decades. Though his smug ass should be behind bars for this and for being an abusive menace throughout his career.
I don't know if this saying works in English, but to me this is one of those tragedies where someone far away threw a stone into the water and the ripples grew bigger and bigger until they eventually crushed someone. So many people have failed this poor woman, from who budgeted the production, to who hired unqualified staff, to how real bullets and working guns even came to be on set... all the way to who pulled the trigger. It'll bring a piece of justice if someone will face criminal charges, but I don't think there's this one (or two or four) perfect responsible killer in this. It's a heartbreaking mess all around, and I can only hope it changes something in the industry when it comes to the observation of safety regulations :(
I just watched Jensen's and it was extremely illuminating regarding the pace of the production, the lack of safety protocols, etc. I didn't realize he was on set when it happened and the gun they were rehearsing with was going to be fired at him in the next set up. Fuckin scary stuff.
Jeez. I haven't watched it because I'm not much for interviews-- especially on such a horrible subject, but yeah, that just sent a chill through me reading this.
I too didn’t realise that the gun was gonna be fired at him. Such a difficult thing to process. I thought he came across really well in his interview. Made me like him even more.

Now do Ryan Reynolds. He's literally responsible for a woman's death.
