Quite strange to say you're a feminist and in the next paragraph talk about how your relationship with a violent abuser is in a really great place. I get that she could be doing it for the kids, but if there's a situation where it's absolutely okay not to be friendly with the father of your children, it's this one.

She's in the middle of a divorce and sorting out custody, it's not the time to air everything out in the press

And I never suggested she should've done that? But a simple "we have an amicable relationship where we both prioritize what's best for our children' would've sufficed.

That is essentially what she said.

As for whether Ford and Harper will watch? "It's not appropriate for them at this time," explained the BIRD Bakery founder. "That was not something that was going to be in line with my goals for them."

The kids are both under eight. Why would they be watching it?

This whole article is very weird. They’re framing it all in a way that doesn’t match the tone of the horrible stuff that was in the documentary at all and she’s talking about it in the vaguest way possible. Using the exact same words, she could just as easily be talking about a random Instagram post about her husband cheating on her and not a multipart documentary where her ex-husband and his family is accused of violently using their power to freely get away with sexual abuse and other terrible things.

that is so shitty of her to post. jesus christ. getting away from a monster/abuser is fraught and really dangerous. if effie is exposing private info that goes against what elizabeth is trying to portray publicly, that is so foolish for no reason except what? attention?

mess
