I was really confused why they were being rushed when....they dont have programming after the show. They dont have any commercials yet. They are solely in charge of their own streaming service yet for some reasons the judges get cut off, the stars get cut off...it was strange.

I guess because there’s an announced time when voting is cut off they want to make sure the dances are complete by that time? Otherwise it might not be fair to the last dancer? That’s the only reason I could come up with.

yeah they could have easily extended the length of the program to 2 and a half or 3 hours since it’s on d+

I’m happy this is back. There are some really exciting contestants this year. Wayne, Shangela, Jordin and Daniel are great! Selma is a favourite because she is so connected to her movements and I hope her experience is wonderful.

Charli is good but I hope Mark can make her seem personable. So far she’s totally blank.

There’s a decent mid pack too that could break out depending on how the partnerships turn out. Trevor or Joseph could turn out to be fun or Cheryl and Louis could win voters over.

I expect Teresa and Vinny to go home very soon. They were terrible.

I don’t watch this show, but I’m procrastinating so I just watched all of the clips.

Everyone would’ve gotten a 4 out of me except for Wayne, Shangela, and (hate to admit it) the tiktok girl. I’d give them all an 7. Theresa would’ve gotten a 5 just for that table flip alone. 🤣

Selma’s was really nice. I don’t really keep up with her, would she be able to do more of the quick paced dances?

I remember in the earlier seasons, the judges were way too nice during the first few weeks so I'm glad that they're giving out low scores right now. I hate when they give everyone 7s because then it's meaningless.

This is the first season I’ve watched in ages that didn’t have any professional/Olympic athletes!

Isn't Charli a dancer already? I don't get this show.

This show has always had contestants with different levels of dance experience. Charli is right near the top but others have been the same. Heather Morris or Nicole Scherzinger both come to mind. Sometimes they do win (Nicole) but more often they don’t.

there are a few contestants this season with dance experience (for example, wayne was on broadway, gabby was a cheerleader etc)

the show has always casted ringers with a lot of dance experience, they certainly don't always win tho lol dwts viewers have always liked underdogs with a journey of growth

As long as they're not known for ballroom dancing, they're fine to compete
