I had to stop halfway through the article because I couldn't stomach it. The fact that, being a queer person themselves, they are preying on vulnerable queer young people is despicable. And don't get me started on their Native American obsession.

Not the point of the article but: How do you keep an assault weapon in a center console? Are there little assault weapons or is it a huge vehicle?

There are lots of little ones. An assault weapon is a broad and general term that covers pretty much any gun capable of semi-automatic fire, among other things.
