Had no idea this was being made into a movie. I was reading the book and am about 1/3 done ... it's good but it's sooooooo long. I don't think I could read the whole thing front-to-back without a break.

Lol I just read the wiki for the book and this story is literally just about a white guy doing crime across South Asia? Exactly the sort of thing white guys love to jerk off to in their fantasies. And we don’t need more of these stories. At all.

I'm sure there are other factors but I notice his project picks are very heavy production/location/cinematography. He liked to be transported as he work if that makes sense. Which is why his ridiculous campaign to be in 50 shades still haunts me.
I'll watch this i enjoy his work savior-y as they are i still enjoy him.
