If Ezra was born with a vagina, they would have been dropped months ago, and the studio would have shelled out tons of money to recast/reshoot. Look at Ruby Rose, granted that was at the TV level, but when they were exposed as being a horrible person, the show recast and reworked the second season.

While it’s important to make sure we use the correct language (I admit that I accidentally misgendered them in a previous post), we also need to remember that Ezra benefits from a level of privilege (having traditionally male physical features) and the discussion should navigate that nuance as well.

I do refer to Ezra as them when using pronouns tho but I'll conceed that I could've worded the sentence differently to point out their white male privilege isn't erased simply bc they identify as NB. Ezra is still very much perceived as a white male and that was my point, bc if they were perceived as anything else (for instance, a trans woman) the discourse and attitude regarding their actions would be vastly different.
