Aw I love it! I love Alan Partridge. I've been listening to the I, Partridge: We Need to Talk About Alan audiobook

i've seen a lot of vids on insta from Coldplays current stadium tour. They're really still packing these stadiums out like it's nothing!

I know Gen Z and younger millennials love to shit on Coldplay but I saw them in 2006 and it was honestly one of the best concerts I've ever been to lol

I haven't listened to their newer shit past like 2010 so I can't even argue because I don't know lol but I def don't keep up with them now (that's a me problem though, I'm one of those "I don't listen to much new music" old ppl)

ONTD, when was the last time you listened to Snow Patrol?

Lol, I listen to them all the time and will not be shamed for it!

As far as I'm concerned, A Hundred Million Suns contains some of the best love song lyrics in the world. And on a more serious note, Life on Earth and Empress (of their latest album) got me through a horrible loss in the family. Empress is one I still listen to when the grief takes over and I need to feel it but also let it go.

Me too! And this is a bit of a tangent but it came to my mind from your comment, I've always thought it's funny how teenage girls relate to music made by (youngish) adult men so much (see: all emo bands). Now I'm wondering if that's because men aren't encouraged to feel things so much so their emotional development lags behind... I'll show myself and my kitchen psychology out.
