OP made me rush to Spotify because I thought the album (!!!) released early lmaooo but AS USUAL she looks stunning in these pics and we will never stop stanning
she's very much a pop girlie but has music that falls into a number of genres XS - rock pop, reminds me of 00s Britney with electric guitars STFU - rock Commes de Garcons - funky house Bad Friend - pop ballad, reminds me of Imogen Heap Lucid - dance electropop Ordinary Superstar - again reminds me of a different flavor of 00s pop ballads
if you are a millennial who has memories of velour, Mary Kate & Ashley movies, My Date with the President's Daughter, the Zenon movies, the "mmmm watcha say" moments on The O.C. and then SNL, delia*s catalogs, early Kardashian seasons, you'll probably like her.
Like above user said, she plays with different genres which makes her music interesting!
If you like artists like Charli XCX, Sky Ferreira, Kali Uchis, SOPHIE, Gaga, etc. check out SAWAYAMA first. If you like more nostalgic-esque 2000s pop like Avril, Britney, NSync, maybe start with the RINA EP or her new stuff from Hold the Girl.
Love ha. Bless ha. Her story is fantastic yet heartbreaking. That she has reclaimed her heritage and came to embrace who she truly is and where she’s at now. Hope all is going well with her rn
