I need about a thousand more movies with this version of "the right person for the role". And to this day Whitney remains the greatest fairy godmother of all time. Especially since she legit acted as such for Brandy at the time.

I love this version sooo much. ABC was really giving us great content in the 90s. The "Wonderful World of Disney" Sunday specials were such an event,and this was by far my favorite. My mom taped it for me so I could watch it anytime lol.

Disney movies on Sunday nights was such a treat for my family because I didn’t have cable growing up, watching ABC on Saturday mornings and Sunday nights was the only way I got to watch Disney content lol

Disney nights and any NBC/Hallmark miniseries were so good back then. They were innovative in moving family film projects into the changing audiences needs at the time.
