The real star of the Stranger Things crew right here. (I haven’t watched yet.) I hope they pay her even a little bit of what she’s made Netflix

aw, they're such cuties <3 Wish they'd shown Sadie's audition. I love auditioning kids, it's exhausting but they're so fun. She did a really good job and I appreciate that they actually searched for kids with experience. It's so common now for directors to say they want 'real people' and it's like... it's literally an actor's job to embody those people and they actually have the skills to switch it on/off according to what they're asked. There's nothing I hate more than getting all excited for a gig only to learn the director is pulling that real people/no previous acting experience crap.

Are you a casting agent for film or theater?

I worked as a casting producer/director for mostly ads, and some films and tv shows. It wasn't paying the bills so I switched to copywriting. I still do some casting every now and then tho bc it's what I love to do :)
