Maybe I missed it, but didn't Alder say she was also a steward of the first song? If so... why was she fine saving Tally (who doesn't have the experience with it) and just standing there as the cave collapsed around her? 😂 idk, I see these people making knife hail (very cool) and killing men by tapping their pens but they can't deflect stones long enough to hop over a hole? If it was some other random person I'd get it but Alder???

I think I had more to say but now I don't even remember because I got to thinking about the cave and I got mad at it all over again lmao. Also why wasn't freeing the frozen witch even an option to try? (I assume because of the integrity of the cave? But idk.)

Oh, another thing that annoyed me was that they all watched the cadets get killed and it wasn't until afterwards that Abigail decided to step in. After the first few got knocked back wasn't good enough I guess?

So we have two episodes left? 🥴

is this show worth starting? i put the pilot on the other but i couldnt concentrate for other reasons but not sure if its worth it to try again

I really liked it. Great world-building, but everything is rushed due to it being non-prestige tv.
I think the costuming and CGI are ok, the acting is ok (again, it's not the actors' fault if the scripts rush around trying to get the story out quickly).

I really wish it were given more room to breathe - the Spree should be the main villains for longer, their ascent through the military should have been much slower....
I think it was clear in season 1 that it wasn't going to be a runaway hit so that dictated what the writers would do for seasons 2&3 to try and show the best of what they had idea-wise.
