Still believe it someone couldve read it out to her to memorise then all she had to do was pretend to look at the book like she knew what the words meant and just say her lines

If I could memorize my books at three, no reason that a professional actress couldn’t do it at 35.

Exactly this. I memorized the first few pages of Owl and the Pussycat little golden book at two, to the point I knew where to turn the pages at.

Someone that has to learn entire books of dialogue this is nothing

Until someone hands her a book that she's never seen before this proves nothing

"According to the U.S. Department of Education, 54% of U.S. adults 16-74 years old - about 130 million people - lack proficiency in literacy, reading below the equivalent of a sixth-grade level."

Clearly Lea can read but where's the joke? Why is it funny if she couldn't? By the stat above, that's making a whole lot of people the butt of a pretty mean "joke."

54%?!?! That's so many people holy shit. I feel like I see a lot of jokes (I guess) about how bad the US education system is, but this is really a chilling statistic.

this reminds me of a TikTok where someone was taking classes in the USA (exchange student) and all the classes were like, Street Law, Soap Making, White People History

Am not at all surprised, the US people are uneducated. A lot of them can't even name three countries. Where are all the normal classes like History, Math, English, Physics, Chemistry, Geography ??
