i feel like this episode fast forwarded a bit too much from where the previous left off. i had to go back and see if i skipped half an episode somewhere cuz what lol
I think it is so great. Really fun. Not too hard to follow. Everything looks really beautiful.
And the acting is so great (as always). Everyone is doing their best (but you do notice when some actors just aren't as good as others in certain scenes). Everyone here seems to hate Aaron Paul but I have been loving him? He's really impressed me this season.
Ed Harris really overstayed his welcome 3 seasons ago for me. I see that he's the creators favorite but I don't think I enjoyed his arc after the Jimmi reveal.
Also finally the Dolores reveal. Sad to think they wasted Ariana Debose on... playing a cameo of her roommate? They could've done so much more with Evan and Ariana and they didn't.
I wonder if the supertall hosts 2.0 will play any role in the finale, because for how little they were used so far, I'm shocked they were practical performers and not CGI.
I agree, if there is a robot version of the man in black it makes more sense for it to be Jimmy than Ed tbh. It would make sense for Dolores to try to bring back the version of the man in black that she loved, the conversations between them in the freezer would’ve made wayyy more sense then and it would’ve gone full circle of Jimmy choosing the black hat once more.
Ed’s involvement should’ve ended in season 3 or he should’ve been relegated to the freezer
my favorite ed moment was when the outlier woman “infected” host william and he had such a soft, troubled expression on his face. i was ready for host wiliiam to fuck up real william and help free people
(hoping that’s really what he’s up to and they just tried to make it look like he played into his human self’s hands, they don’t need to cater to reddit neckbeards who think human william is the hero and dolores/maeve are the villains lol)
He acted the shit out of that scene, truly an amazing performance from him. I just don't care about his character or story and I haven't since season 1.
they better explain the deal with christina/maya/her boss/her stalker/etc, teddy, how she’s able to physically interact with (and be injured by!!) humans if she’s just some command program and “not there”. that’s the story i’ve been most interested in
